Using a computer mouse

Objectives: At the end of this exercise you shall be able to
• hold the computer mouse
• move the computer mouse.

Requirements

Materials
• Computer mouse - 1 No.

PROCEDURE

To use a computer mouse, you can hold it, move it, and click the buttons.

TASK 1: How to hold the computer mouse (Fig 1)
1 Place your hand over the mouse so that your palm is Fig 2

TASK 2: How to move the mouse

How to click the buttons?

Tips for using a mouse
• Sit back in your chair and relax your arms.
• Avoid using a wrist rest.
• Use a position-adjustable mouse platform.
